Methodist Church (PMC for short) represents the Methodist Church in Singapore in
the Pasir Ris community. Our mission is to raise faithful disciples, care for
one another, and reach the community for Jesus Christ. Our vision is to become
God's WORLD. It is an acronym that PMC has adopted to help focus our efforts as
we grow
So what does WORLD means? At PMC, we
endeavour to be a
Worshipping and Praying Community
Outreach and Witnessing Community
Redeeming and Caring Community
Leadership Developing Community
Discipling and Serving Community
Although our vision is cast as five pillars, none of them stands alone. As we honour God through our worship and commune with Him in prayer, we will surely find Him prompting us to reach out to the needy, and bear witness to the good news of His salvation. As we take discipleship and service seriously, we will find ourselves redeeming the likeness of God in each other and showing love and care for those around us. If we are faithful and responsive to His prompting, we will find God raising up leaders after His own heart.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. The second is this : You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these" Mark 12:30-31
