Care Ministry

The Care Ministry, set up in July 2007, provides regular Christian fellowship to Church members who are Shut Ins, home bound or convalescing in hospitals and are unable to attend regular Sunday Church Worship Services, owing to various disabilities.
The Care Ministry comprises PMC members who are volunteers. The volunteers are divided into 2 main groups of visitation teams:
1: Shut-In Visitation Teams
2: Hospital Visitation Teams
PMC members who have such family members that require visitations are encouraged to inform the Church office, so that arrangements can be made with the appropriate visitation teams.For further details, kindly contact Mrs Joan Tan. More >>

 

Church School

Sunday school from K1 and 2 up to Primary 6 are available at both morning services of 9:15am and 11am. Nursery is also available for toddlers. Please contact Mrs Priscilla Solomon for more information. More >>   Kidzlink >>

 

 

Glowing Years Ministry

Glowing Years Ministry is for retirees/senior citizens although anyone above 55 years is welcome. Besides excursions and overseas trips, GYM has a fellowship meeting every Wednesday at 2:30pm in Aldersgate Hall. Light snacks are served. Please contact Mrs Jenny Phuah for more information. Mandarin Ministry

The Mandarin ministry is headed by Ms Debby Lee, LMS, from Taiwan. The Sunday service is held at the Chapel at 11:00am. There are Bible classes and cell groups meetings held in church and in the homes of members during the week. The Chairman is How Choon Onn. Please contact either of them for more information. Missions

The church’s mission involvement is in Indonesia (church planting) and in Cambodia (orphanage work), where we make mission trips to the orphanage each year . Outreach & Social Concerns

This ministry is to meet needs in a concrete and practical way to individuals, families and groups of people to fulfil the gospel mandate to “feed the hungry, clothe the naked and give shelter to the homeless”. There are visits to the sick and the shut ins, besides a yearly blood donation drive. Please contact Mrs Jenny Sim for more information.

 

 

Peranakan/Indonesian Congregation

The Sunday service is held in the Chapel, 4th floor at 7:45am. Peranakan / Indonesian Fellowship at 9:15am Room 1. Besides catering to the older generation of Malay speaking Peranakans, the service is also attended by Indonesians who are mainly domestic helpers and their families residing in Singapore. Prayer Ministry

Prayer meetings are held every Thursday at Aldersgate Hall at 7:45pm. A short time of worship precedes the group prayer time, and there is often a short devotion. Small Groups

There are more than 30 over cells meeting either in church or in members’ homes mainly on Thursday and Friday nights. The main cell group structure follows the Serendipity Series. There are a few other small groups that hold Bible studies of their own. Please contact the church office for more information. More >>

 

Soccer Community

The Soccer Community brings together Christians who love soccer and want to enjoy the game with fellow Christians and friends. The Soccer Community has the following as its goals- 1: Establishes relationships between soccer-loving individuals 2: Seeks to honour God on and off the field 3: Builds character through self-respect and love for one another 4: Encourages physical fitness as part of personal well-being. YMPACT

YMPACT is the youth ministry of Pentecost Methodist Church. We gather every Sunday at the PMC Chapel at 9am for a time of prayer, praise and learning the word of God. YMPACT is led by our chairperson, Gabriel Lim. We are guided and supported by Rev Aaron Tay our pastor, and our lay ministry staff, Aloysius Tan. Together, YMPACT exists to reach youths for Christ, to help them grow in their faith, to care for one another, and to offer ourselves in service to Christ.
